2026 Call For Nominations To The OCF Board Of Directors
The Ontario Climbing Federation is seeking candidates for our Board of Directors.
There are two(2) open positions for a two-year term (2026-2028). At this time we are particularly looking for candidates with financial and governance experience. Information on our nominations process is included in the attached Information Package.
You will join a board with momentum that is dedicated to the development of climbing in Ontario.
Since the last AGM we have:
Continued to secure provincial funding to invest in our high performance and para climbing athletes
Sanctioned a complete schedule of competitions across our 2026-27 Para, Senior, Speed and Youth Seasons.
Transformed our technology and systems
Revitalized our roster of Officials
Invested in our Routesetters to support and develop their unique skillset and talents
Continued focussed development on community building and the quality of our competition experiences.
Our continued success depends on having a strong working Board of Directors and other volunteers to support the organization.
You do not need to be a climber to join. We are hoping to continue building a team with a broad range of combined skills and experience.
If you are passionate about our athletes, community and sport climbing, please consider joining the Board and helping to shape the future of competition climbing in Ontario.
