Committees

OCF committees are composed of volunteers who contribute their time and skills to a specific area of our organization. Committee terms last 1 year, and most committees meet monthly via teleconference.

Competition Committee

The Competition Committee structures, plans, and schedules the OCF competition calendar.

Route Setting Committee

The Route Setting Committee works to develop and implement a certification for route setters affiliated with the OCF in order to create a consistent standard of competition route setting at OCF events.

Coaching Committee

The Coaching Committee works to develop and implement training, education and certification for coaches affiliated with the OCF in order to create a consistent standard of coaching across the province.

Technical Committee

The Technical Committee maintains the OCF rulebook and works to grow our team of volunteer judges and officials.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee works to keep our members informed and spread the OCF’s message to the broader Ontario climbing community.
