OCF Launches Para Climbing Competition Series for 2026-27 Season

The Ontario Climbing Federation (OCF) today is thrilled to announce the 2026-27 OCF Para Climbing Series - a new three-stop competition circuit dedicated to para and adaptive climbers — the first series of its kind in the province.

The series kicks off at Reach Indoor Climbing on September 26, continues at Aspire Whitby on November 21, and wraps up at Junction Climbing Center on January 9.

Where para-climbing has existed as a single event on the OCF calendar for the past couple of years, the OCF is excited to give athletes a full season to compete, track progress and build community around the province - a structure previously reserved for OCF's Youth and Senior categories.

The launch marks a true commitment from OCF in hopes of making para climbing a permanent, growing part of Ontario's competitive scene and to spread the word that climbing is for every body.
